We look for candidates who have outstanding academic and linguistic potential, as well as the interpersonal skills needed to succeed in a high-status hospitality management career.
To access our Bachelor in International Hospitality Management, you must have successfully completed your final secondary school examinations, qualifying you for university admission in the country where you went to school. In general, we require grades that are well above the minimum pass level. We also take into consideration the difficulty of the courses you chose, and prefer subjects that develop the analytical skills needed to succeed at EHL Campus (Singapore).
Candidates are also required to have acquired at least the equivalent of one year of professional experience full-time in hospitality, either professionally or during their studies. Please contact our admission officers for further details regarding our professional experience requirement.
The minimum age for entry to our Bachelor's course is 18.
You must provide one of the following documents:
Your second language may be your native language or another language of your choice, other than English. Should you choose another language, you must be able to demonstrate that you have studied it for at least three years.
International Baccalaureate: diploma: 28/45
American High School Diploma:
Unweighted GPA of min. 3
+ SAT 1 (min. 500 points in each section and 15 out of 24 in the essay - mandatory)
OR ACT results (with a min. composite score of 24 + the essay is mandatory).

All certificates and transcripts that are not in English, French, German or Italian must be translated into English or French by a certified translator. The translation should be accompanied by comprehensive information on the school or university attended and an explanation of the grading and assessment system.

Our selection process is designed to assess your skills and attributes. There are three phases: initial evaluation, online assessment, and final selection.
All applications should be made online through our application module.

All of the documents listed below must be submitted electronically via the online application portal. We accept documents in French, English, German or Italian.
When you have uploaded all of the required documents, you will finalize your application by paying your application fee of SGD 325.
Upon a positive evaluation of your online application to our Bachelor's program in International Hospitality Management, you will receive an invitation to complete an online evaluation that includes a 20-minute online interview that you can complete at home. You need a computer, a webcam and access to internet in order to complete the online interview.
If you pass the online evaluation, you will be invited to take part in a selection day. The selection day is an opportunity for us to examine your interests and abilities in much greater depth.
We advise you to attend one of our selection days in Singapore. This will give you a chance to visit our campus, meet members of our faculty and other employees, and talk to current students. If you do not live in Singapore and are unable to come to Singapore for your selection day, you may ask to take part in one of our selection days in Switzerland or abroad. Such requests are considered on an individual basis.
Our selection days involve the following activities:
The interview is not a test of your knowledge, and you will not be quizzed on specific facts. The aim is to assess your motivation, your potential and your suitability for the demands of the hospitality industry. We will ask you to tell us about your experience and your expectations. Our questions will focus, for example, on any summer jobs you may have had in the hospitality industry, your extracurricular activities and your international exposure.
The team-building exercise
Working in a team will be an important part of your studies at EHL. We therefore would like to see if you enjoy teamwork and if you have the necessary skills needed to work successfully as part of a team.
The analytical and quantitative aptitude test
This test is composed of 4 different exams in order to evaluate your leadership, interpersonal skills, analytical reasoning and motivation. This test will be computer-based; that is why we will ask you to bring your own laptop.
Preparing for your selection day
No specific preparation is needed. However, to make sure you are choosing the right career, you should find out as much as you can about the hospitality industry, the career opportunities it offers and the training options available in our international hospitality management degree program.
Following the selection day, your complete candidature will be evaluated by the Selection Committee. Admission to EHL is competitive, and only students who show excellent academic and leadership potential, motivation and interpersonal skills will be selected.

We remind students that their fees are secured through a Fee Protection Scheme. No tuition fees will be charged before receiving a signed student contract and before the 7 days cooling period. EHL Campus (Singapore) provides accommodation support through arrangements with local providers. Students should budget about 6,500 SGD per semester for studio rental.
