Student Pass Application

Step 1: Prepare the required documents.
Assemble the documents as required by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority and verify whether you are coming from a visa-required country.

Step 2: Apply for the Student Pass.
Our Student Affairs team will provide you with your Student Pass Application number. You will use it to submit your application together with the required documents from step 1.

Step 3: Receive the Student Pass.
Our Student Affairs team will monitor the status of your Student Pass application (processing time is 2 to 4 weeks on average, some applications can take a longer time) and guide you through the next steps of the Admissions process.

Once your student pass application is approved, we will send you a copy of the In-Principle Approval Letter (IPA) issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). This letter will serve as an entry visa to Singapore if you are from visa-required country.

Note that when you arrive in Singapore, you are required to complete the formalities indicated on the IPA and collect your student pass from the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority. The IPA expires if you do not collect your student pass in time.

Step 4. Finalize your admission
Following the issuance on the In-Principle Approval, we will then issue your first invoice for the course.

We will contact you for your choice of language courses, health insurance and other administrative matters.

Upon receipt of your first payment, we will finalize your set-up in the School systems and prepare your student card.

Step 5. Travel to Singapore
You will start your course with the Orientation Week, where we will provide you further information about your new environment at school and in Singapore.

The Fee Protection Scheme aims at protecting the international and local students’ fees in the event that the course provider is unable to continue operations due to insolvency and/or regulatory closure.

Furthermore, it protects the student if the course provider fails to pay penalties or to return fees to students arising from judgements made against it by the Singapore Courts.
