The Certificate in English Essentials for Hospitality is part of the EHL Foundation Program and equips students with the language proficiency and academic skills required to thrive in their future studies. Delivered at a B2 level, the course strengthens the four core competencies, reading, writing, listening, and speaking, through engaging, practical, and academically focused learning experiences.

Fees

Tuition Fees: CHF 13,600 (incl. GST; invoiced in Singapore Dollars at exchange rate)

Includes:

  • Courses, teaching material, personal coaching, field trips and additional training
  • F&B during program hours

Additional costs if required:

  • Accommodation: approx. CHF 4,750
  • Guardianship (for under 18): approx. CHF 1,000
  • Other: health insurance, administrative fees (ex: visa process), F&B after program hours card, and any other personal expenses.

Admission Criteria

  • Secondary education diploma
  • English language certificate:
    • IELTS Academic: minimum 5.5
    • TOEFL iBT: minimum score 3.5
    • Cambridge C1 Advanced: minimum Grade B2
    • Duolingo: minimum score 95
  • Minimum age of 18 at the start of the course (applications from 17‑year‑olds may be considered case by case)
